The Clarendon Fund scholarships is open to all graduate applicants regardless of Nationality for entry in 2012/2013 at University of Oxford UK

From 1 September 2011, all graduate applicants for 2012/13 entry will be eligible for this prestigious scholarship funding which has, up until now, only been open to international candidates with overseas fee status. In this 10th anniversary year of the founding of the Clarendon Scholarships, this change will see the Clarendon Fund further strengthened as a flagship university graduate scholarship fund, and offer the widest possibilities for attracting matched funding from donor partners within and outside the University.

Harry Frederick Oppenheimer was a noted South African businessman, philanthropist, and opponent of apartheid. In 1993 he endowed the Oppenheimer Fund at Oxford University. The Fund promotes links between the University of Oxford and South African Universities. It does this by supporting academic exchanges between Oxford and South Africa, and assisting students ordinarily resident in South Africa wishing to pursue graduate study at Oxford.
