15 Nigerian students benefits from the Australian Development Scholarship

“What we are doing is to raise promising young Africans in general and Nigerians in particular for the development of the continent and to also strengthen our relationship with their country.” Australian High Commission in Nigeria, Ian McConville The Australian Development Scholarships (ADS)is awarded annually by the Australia Goernment to African and Nigerian students to undertake masters program with focus in Education, Public Policy (including public sector reform, trade and diplomacy), Health and Agriculture/Food Security. The Australian High Commission in Nigeria recently announced the 15 Nigerians awarded scholarships by the Australian government to start their programmes towards the ending of January 2012. Thirteen of the awardees are already mobilizing to take off soon for the first semester while the remaining two are expected to join them in June for the second semester this year 2012. The awardees are: Adeleke Teslim Oyediran Ahmed Amina Garuba Brossa Tombra Susan Danmadami Hauwa Mohammed Hassan Zainab Adam Iheanacho Iberi Grace Isiguzo Chikezie Adindu Lawal Olabisi Omotayo Mohammed Sani Bako Nzegbuna Christian Oki Austin Oyinkuro Oladele Tolulope Osagie Osayande Ehigie While Olufemi-Babem Temitope and Sama Ibrahim Muhammed are expected to go in June Australian High Commission in Nigeria, Ian McConville at a dinner in honour [...]
