Dutch Government Scholarships for International Students - Diploma in Broadcast management at RNTC in Netherlands-2012

The Dutch Government fellowship programme in Netherlands is offered through the Netherlands Ministry of Foreign Affairs, to international students to strengthen the capacity of trainers, training organizers and educators working in or for the broadcast sector to assess training needs and design, develop and deliver effective and efficient training solutions. The programme is designed for mid career trainers, training organizers and educators working for broadcasting organizations, training providers (departments, centres, institutes), schools of journalism and broadcasting, or media and communication departments at universities.

Research Scholarships in Food Security Related Issues for Postdoctoral Researchers from Developing Countries, 2012 by The Food Security Center (DAAD with funds of Federal Ministry of Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) of Germany)

The Food Security Center (FSC) is seeking to attract up to three (3) visiting young innovative professionals (postdoctoral researchers) from developing countries to undertake research scholarship in Food Security for a period of four months in 2012. The scholarship aims at increasing their previously gained scientific knowledge and skills relevant to food security related issues. Successful candidate will collaborate with the research staff of one of FSC's partner universities or another research center or development organization located in a developing country (e.g., one of the centers of the CGIAR) to conduct a specific research project contributing to the mission of FSC.

Research Fellowship in the field of international affairs and security studies sciences for African scholars at London School of Economics in UK- 2011-2012

The African research Fellowship will be offered for a period of up to four months during the 2011-2012 academic year, and will be based at IDEAS at the London School of Economics (LSE). The Fellow will be expected to engage in research on a topic under one of the following themes:
• Africa's role in global security
• Africa states and the SAARC region (includes India, Pakistan and Sri Lanka)
• African foreign and economic policies
Preference will be given to topics that focus on Africa and contemporary international relations and security concerns of Africa and the external powers. The Fellowship is open to candidates from Africa (AU countries) and it is desirable that applicants are currently employed by a higher education institution, or working in a research capacity in Africa.
