Accelerated Skills Enhancement Training Programme Posted: 18 Feb 2012 03:48 AM PST Pembangunan Sumber Manusia Berhad (PSMB), an agency under the MInistry of Human Resources invites all eligible candidates to upgrade their skills through the Accelerated Skills Enhancement Training (ASET) Programme for year 2012. The ASET is a fast track programme specially designed to assist the nation to generate a competent workforce with specialised skills in a short duration. Through this approach, the Government’s intention of transforming Malaysia to a high income country will be expedited. The target for this programme are :

Posted: 17 Feb 2012 08:17 PM PST Since the establishment of Permata Pintar programme, the Faculty of Education Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) had trained hundred of gifted students. This kind of children is given chance to reach their full potential as early as 5 years old, in collaboration with Johns Hopkins University. To participate in this programme, any child from 9 – 15 years has to go through the preliminary tests which are known as Ujian Permata Pintar UKM1, UKM2 and UKM3. Those selected and offered the programme will then have to participate in a school holiday camp where the children will go through a special curriculum there designed by education experts from Centre for Talented Youth Johns Hopkins University and UKM.

Closing date The closing date for sit for the Ujian UKM1 is 30 April 2012. Only candidates who passed the UKM1 will be contacted to proceed with Ujian UKM2 and Ujian USIM1.
