Bantuan RM100 Pelajar Sekolah 2013 Posted: 02 Jan 2013 07:14 AM PST Bantuan RM100 Pelajar Sekolah 2013The second RM100 school aid will be paid out starting Jan 15, said Deputy Education Minister Dr Mohd Puad Zarkashi on Wednesday. He said the Ministry had issued a circular on the matter reminding the school authorities to not make any deductions for any Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) or other payments. “The RM100 must be distributed to the students’ parents. It’s up to them if they want to use the money to pay PTA fees. The school has no right to deduct the money,” he told reporters here. Mohd Puad had earlier visited Sekolah Kebangsaan (SK) Batang Benar, SK Sendayang and Tunku Kurshiah College (TKC) near here in conjunction with the first day of school for the 2013 session on Wednesday. Apart from the five million students in government schools the RM100 would also be distributed to students in government-aided, private, and religious schools. The aid was announced by Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak, who is also Finance Minister, in the 2013 Budget for all primary and secondary students, following the first RM100 which was provided in 2012. – Bernama |
