The Bournemouth University scholarship is offered to international (non-EU) students for BU postgraduate degrees beginning in September 2011and January 2012. To be eligible to apply for a BU Postgraduate International Scholarship applicants must demonstrate an outstanding academic profile (considered to be equivalent to a UK 1st class Honours degree as assessed by NARIC) relevant to the intended course of study.

International scholarships for Postgraduate (Master's & PhD) students in the Department of Biology, McGill University, Canada

The Department of Biology at McGill University, Canada offers graduate training programs leading to the M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in many areas of biology with particular strengths in Ecology, Biodiversity and Conservation, Evolution, Molecular Biology and Genetics, Cell and Developmental Biology, Neurobiology, Plant Biology and Bioinformatics. The emphasis in both programs is on development of the intellectual and technical skills necessary for independent research. The main component of both degrees is a thesis embodying the results of original research. Scholarships are limited, and are awarded on the basis of academic merit. International Postgraduate Research Scholarships (IPRS) Australia 2011/2012

Government funded International scholarship in Australia for Postgraduate (Masters & Doctoral degrees) students at the University of Western Sydney (UWS) 2011

The International Postgraduate Research Scholarships (IPRS) awards are offered for full-time study towards higher degrees by research in Universities in Australia. IPRS are funded by the Department of Education, Employment & Workplace Relations (DEEWR). The IPR Scholarship is highly competitive. Only applicants with extensive research training and experience will be offered an award.
University of Western Sydney - UWS may also offer University funded awards called UWS International Postgraduate Research Scholarships (UWSIPRS). These awards carry the same stipend and conditions as the government funded IPRS. Applicants do not need to apply separately for these awards. All applicants for the IPRS are automatically considered for the UWSIPRS if they are not offered an IPRS.
