Essay competition for Young Africans to win EUR 1000 on NEPAD's 10th Anniversary!
The New Partnership for Africa's Development (NEPAD) Agency and the Technical Centre for Agricultural and Rural Cooperation ACP-EU (CTA) jointly celebrates NEPAD's 10th Anniversary. In the context of reflecting over the advancement of the African development agenda, both institutions are organizing an essay competition on the topic; "Looking at ICTs and entrepreneurship in agriculture and rural development through the eyes of women and the youth". This contest also falls in the framework of CTA activities on Youth, Women and ICTs. In line with these objectives, CTA and the NEPAD Agency are searching for enthusiastic African young (writers, journalists and other youth), who want to demonstrate their abilities by examining these issues.

International Scholarships for Women for postgraduate studies in USA and Canada by International Peace Scholarship Fund
The International Peace Scholarship Fund, established in 1949 by the Philanthropic Educational Organization, is a program that provides scholarships for selected women from other countries for graduate study in the United States and Canada. The applicant must be qualified for admission to full-time graduate study or working toward a graduate degree in a college or university in the US or Canada. In order to qualify for her first scholarship, the applicant must have at least one full year of coursework remaining and be enrolled and in residence for the entire school year.

Pathways Leadership for Progress Undergraduate Scholarship in Kenya 2011

Application for 2011 entry to the University of Nairobi or Kenyatta University
The Pathways Leadership for Progress offers scholarship for undergraduate Kenyan students to study at the University of Nairobi or Kenyatta University (only for students under the regular/module I programme). The scholarship is available for highly qualified undergraduate students with financial need commencing studies in October 2011. Preference will be given to students from disadvantaged groups such as AIDS orphans and girls. Selected candidates will be expected to obtain good grades, work on their community projects, and contribute to the successful running of the PATHWAYS program while in university and after wards. Success in meeting these expectations will be required for continuation in the program. Girls strongly encouraged to apply.
