The Special Scholarship Program (SSP) was established in 2003 in order to support the advanced research of Kochi University of Technology by enlisting the help of highly capable students especially students from foreign countries. Every year in April and October, the university enrolls selected doctoral students for specific research projects. The students pursue the doctoral course in English (excluding Japanese students) while at the same time assisting their host professor as a research assistant (RA). Through this scholarship program KUT wishes to expand and deepen international ties with academic and educational institutions all over the world. Read more »  |

The International Road Federation (IRF) fellowship Program provides a one-time grant for graduate engineers and transportation managers toward the costs of university graduate study in fields related to the development of better and safer roads and road networks worldwide. Through the International Road Educational Foundation, the IRF awards grants to graduate engineers and other transportation professionals, from around the world in support of full-time academic training. Graduates of the Program comprise a highly skilled, efficient and productive body of experts which today exerts a strong influence on the orderly development of road transportation systems around the world. The Audio Engineering Society Educational Foundation offers scholarship grants for international students to study for postgraduate program in Audio Engineering leading to Masters or higher degree in USA. The foundation is dedicated to encouraging the entry of talented students into the profession of audio engineering and related fields. Since its establishment in 1984, the Foundation has awarded grants for graduate studies to exceptional applicants, many of whom have gone on to prominent and successful careers in the profession.
