The Commonwealth Scholarship Commission (CSC) is currently inviting applications for Commonwealth Professional Fellowships in 2011(Round 2). Applications should be made by the UK host organization which acts as the 'nominator', and which can be from any sector. Nominators should be able to identify suitable candidates themselves, through existing organizational networks or by advertising if they wish. The Lady Judge Distance learning scholarship is available for one South African woman towards the costs of studying Masters (MSc) degree on one of the Centre for Development, Environment and Policy (CeDEP) distance learning programmes at School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS), University of London. Any Master degree course offered by the CeDEP distance learning programme is eligible for the scholarship. Candidates will be assessed on academic merit by an Advisory Panel. The Women in Aviation International, Scholarships for 2012 are now available until November 14, 2011. WAI offers scholarship awards annually to men and women members (students, teachers and professionals) who want to further their studies in Aviation. The WAI scholarships also help teachers fulfill their dreams, by providing them with the resources they need to bring aviation into their classrooms or to enhance their skills.
