2012 British Chevening Scholarship for African Students, UK Posted: 30 Nov 2011 01:21 PM PST 2012 Chevening Scholarship for International Postgraduate Students from Botswana, Nigeria, Ethiopia, South Africa, Uganda, South Sudan, Zambia The Chevening Scholarship Programme is a prestigious financial aid awards scheme (funded by the UK's Foreign and Commonwealth Office and administered by the British Council) that funds international postgraduate students who want to study in the UK for one academic year. The scholarship scheme provides funding for up to 2300 students annually and operates in over 150 countries. The Chevening scholarship is open for future leaders who are already experienced in their chosen profession and would like to further develop their career with a postgraduate course in the UK. In addition, it provides you with the opportunity to experience UK life and meet other Chevening scholars.
